Product Description
Lucide HUPS IR is an oval, white outdoor wall light with an opal light surface. Its matt synthetic body and matching synthetic wall plate form a simple shallow profile beside an entrance, terrace or side wall. The opal section diffuses the light to create a softer-looking accent in the surrounding area. Its position and light direction have no mechanical adjustment.
One integrated 10 W LED source delivers 950 lm at a fixed 3000 K warm white colour temperature. The specified beam angle is 120°, with CRI 80 colour rendering. Light spreads around the fitting through the opal surface, and a separate bulb is not required. This model is non-dimmable and has no adjustable colour temperature. Watts describe power consumption, while lumens describe emitted light output, so compare lumens when assessing brightness. CRI describes how naturally object colours appear under the light.
A built-in PIR motion sensor and day/night sensor enable automatic operation in response to movement and ambient light. The exact product page specifies a 1–9 m detection distance and a 140° detection angle. Position and direction of approach affect practical detection, so plan the fitting around the route to be illuminated.
The fitting uses a 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply, which can be switched with a wall switch. Power must remain on for automatic sensing. Lucide specifies electrical protection class II. No separate supply lead with plug is attached, so position the light at a prepared electrical connection. Class II means double or reinforced electrical insulation.
Body and listed wall-plate dimensions are 11.9 × 4.5 × 21.2 cm. Net weight is 0.3 kg. IP54 protection supports outdoor use with protection against dust ingress and splashing water. The package contains one fitting with LED source, driver and installation materials.
